Why choose Mr Braithwaite?
Mr Braithwaite is a highly qualified and experienced gynaecologist and obstetrician, with a large proportion of patients coming from personal recommendations, and sometimes even from the same family.
He has a wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge however it is his personal approach that stands out. His creation of a safe and comfortable environment, along with his sensitive and encompassing approach, ensures that his patients feel relaxed and listened to.
Far from being a rushed experience, an appointment with Jeffrey will allow plenty of time for you to discuss any problems or issues that you need to.
The Clinic
When it comes to the clinic itself, we are proud to say that our clinic has a warm and welcoming feel, akin to a beauty treatment room than a Doctor’s surgery.
Patients are given complete privacy from when they arrive at the clinic to when they leave, so you can rest assured your appointment will be completely private from beginning to end.
There is also a female chaperone available for all appointments.
At the clinic, we are proud to be able to offer everything in-house, saving our patients time so you don’t need to worry about booking and travelling to a separate appointment in a different location.
Should you have a non-gynaecological issue that needs investigating, he is very well connected with other specialist consultants, so can help with finding the right one for you.

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust are the UK’s leading cervical cancer charity. Their vision is to see a future where cervical cancer is a thing of the past and until that day they want to reduce the impact for everyone affected by cervical cell changes and cervical cancer. Jo’s provides the highest quality information and support and campaign for excellence in cervical cancer treatment and prevention.
As a gynaecologist, I am very keen on raising awareness about the importance of regular screening for women to prevent cervical cancer. I am also delighted to announce that I will now be part of Jo’s Trust’s ‘Ask the Expert’ panel, a support service that is available on their website. Anybody is free to submit questions anonymously to have them answered by an experienced and qualified doctor. I am also working with the trust as part of their ‘Peer Reviewer’ programme, helping them to review content and information released by the trust, to ensure they are providing the most accurate resources to their patients and community.
